Warren Island
Easily accessible from the marinas in Hope and a 5 minute boat ride for the Basin Boat launch. Hope, Idaho is a beautiful rear-round community located on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. The island is approximately 2 miles long and and 1/2 mile wide and 1 mile from off shore. It’s home to about 25 or so cabins and homes. While most owners enjoy the island just from April to October several owners are living on the island year round. Electric and telephone are at every lot and underground. TV and Internet are also available.
Lake Pend Oreille is a boater’s paradise. It is 43 miles long with 111 miles of shoreline. Recreational activities abound: fishing, sailing, swimming, kayaking, SUP just to name a few. There are nearby hiking and biking trails and Schweitzer Mountain offers Winter and Summer family fun. There is something for everyone. Sandpoint and Hope are plentiful with Art galleries and studio tours offered with Artists’s Studio Tours in summer. Then there is The Festival at Sandpoint, Arts & Craft Show, Lost in the 50’s…

Karen started living on Warren Island in 1976 and started selling properties on the island about the same time. She lives on the island from May through October every year enjoying the quiet relaxing lifestyle found on Warren Island.
